the land to PCM's business associates, and
this 134-unit condo development hangs over
our pool and Bocce courts. WHAT A MESS!

Botching Our Bocce Courts!
We are now an "official" club within Laguna Woods Village and
growing stronger. We have about 150 members. Join us ($1
per year) and receive information on meetings, instruction from
experts on controlling city growth plans, how to work with city
government, measures that can be taken to influence our City
Council, and actions needed to put new development plans to
a vote of the people.

The Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) has spent hundreds of
thousands of resident's dollars on land use plans to
commercially develop the last 50-70 acres of open space and
other land within the community of Laguna Woods Village.
Their development plans will increase traffic congestion by
approximately 7,000 more cars at El Toro Road and Moulton
Parkway, add multi-story apartment and office buildings, and
forever take away our remaining open space. Our community
is built-out and more growth will only cause more daily traffic in
the area and unnecessary stress on our infrastructures and
services. It's time to stop and declare ourselves "bullt-out".
SOS in Laguna Woods intends to oppose any changes to the
City's General Plan and zoning which damage our community.
As a group, we will be attending Planning Committee and City
Council meetings to voice our concerns, and force any
proposed changes to be submitted to the voters through the
referendum process. We need all the help we can get, and
welcome your support!
